Mary supervises both speech and language therapists and other professionals working in the area of acquired brain injury. Details about my approach can be found on this link on the intandem register.
Mary has completed supervision training with intandem including “Are you getting enough?” 1, 2 and 3 and Advanced Supervision skills in creative supervision.
Mary has also written a chapter with a couple of colleagues about their personal experience of setting up a peer supervision. She also contributes blog posts about supervision topics, how supervision supported my career choices, the importance of supervision for rehabilitation assistants and using questions in supervision.
Mary receives regular supervision for supervisions, as well as professional supervision both in a 1:1 format and as part of a peer group.
Mary has recently launched a group supervision group to provide a safe space for speech and language therapist to reflect on the complexities of assessment and treatment of cognitive communication difficulty.
